Australian citizens do not need a visa to travel to New Zealand - you’ll just need to complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration online or via their app before arrival
Getting to Wānaka
Our wedding venue Rippon is located in Wānaka which is a cutie little town a scenic one hour drive from Queenstown
There are car hire, shuttle bus and uber options throughout Queenstown (car/shuttle discounts?). You can also get your hotel to organise an airport transfer if you’re heading straight to Wānaka
Getting to Rippon

☆ BUS:
We’ve organised a private bus to arrive at 2:10pm at the Lakefront Bus Stop (100 Ardmore Street) then at Edgewater Hotel a few minutes later - the bus back will be departing Rippon just before midnight -
☆ CAR:
There is parking available at the venue, cars can be left there until 11am the following morning -
☆ FOOT:
Rippon is a 20 minute walk from Edgewater Hotel
Where to Stay
We recommend booking at Edgewater Hotel where we will be staying - it’s a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk along the lakefront to the central area. Book directly and use code “2802CALJAM” for a discounted rate
Accommodation for February 2028 won’t be available on their website until March 2027 however you can still book by phone or email prior to this. February is one of their busiest months and one of the first to sell out so they recommend securing accommodation as early as possible

Will we be inside or outside?
